Digits is a new iPhone app that does one very simple thing, and does it very well.  It makes it quick and easy to take down a person’s (or place’s) phone number and get it added to the Contacts app.

Sure, there are plenty of existing ways to jot down a number on the iPhone, and of course you can always just use the Contacts app itself to add a new contact and record their number – but none of the existing methods are as easy as Digits …
